World Cup Anthem from K'naan

Wavin Flag by Somalian born K'naan is the rousing Soccer Anthem for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

K'naan , the Somalian-born, Canadian-based hip-hop artist speaks out whenever he can about the "unity and celebration" that will connect with his song "Wavin' Flag," after it had been chosen as the official anthem of Coca-Cola's 2010 FIFA World Cup, South Africa program.

Music Element Throughout 2010 World Cup

What the song would be was one of the best-kept secrets. The buzz around K’naan already started building in early 2009 when Khanye West ( believe it or not) gave the rapper a punt when he posted the video of K’naan’s song “America” on his massively followed blog.
K'naan's "Wavin' Flag" will be used as the music element throughout the entire 2010 World Cup campaign and as the soundtrack on all global TV commercials for soccer greatest soccer spectacle, which will take place in South Africa next summer during June and July. “Wavin’ Flag will also be played at events for the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola which is now underway, and will be featured on the online digital platform for the World Cup.

"Wavin Flag: The Celebration Mix" – a World Cup Anthem

"Wavin Flag: The Celebration Mix" is a recast version of a track off K'naan's album "Troubadour" (Universal Music, 2009). The world cup anthem features many elements of the original song but includes a pre-chorus that sets the uplifting, unified tone of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, turning the song into one that is "more open, more inviting, more celebratory", the artist says.

Who is K’naan?

K'naan, born Keinan Abdi Warsame in 1978, is a Somali-Canadian poet, rapper and musician. His name, K'naan, means "traveler" in the Somali language.

He was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, and grew up there during the civil war, which started in 1991. His aunty, Magool was one of Somalia’s most famous singers. K'naan’s father Abdi, wanted a better life for his family and left for New York where he worked as a cab driver, sending money home to his family.

Left Somalia on the Last Commercial Flight

As the civil war continued and the situation in Somalia continued to deteriorate, K'naan's mother, Marian Mohamed, petitioned the United States embassy for an exit visa. Leaving Somalia at the age of thirteen, on what turned out to be the very last commercial flight to ever do so, K’naan and his family first settled in New York and then moved to the Toronto, Ontario neighborhood of Rexdale, where there was a large Somali Canadian community
In 2001, after gaining notoriety as a skilled MC and spoken word poet, K'naan was invited to Geneva to perform a spoken word piece at the 50th anniversary of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. African superstar Youssou N'Dour, who was in the audience, loved the performance so much that he invited K'naan to Senegal to record with him.

Rising to Mainstream Popularity

K'naan would rise to mainstream popularity by participating in the 2008 BET Awards Cypher, This was his first appearance on American television. His second studio album, Troubadour, was released on February 24, 2009 on A&M/Octone Records, Troubadour, features the talents of Mos Def, Chali 2na, Metallica's Kirk Hammett and the long-lost Chubb Rock.
Rolling Stone magazine describes him a someone who “thinks like Bob Marley, flows like Eminem and mixes African music with conscious hip-hop, unabashed pop and even metal.”

Different Formats for 2010 World Cup

So far, there is no confirmed release of the song although there are a few versions available on YouTube and on K’naan’s website. It seems likely K'naan's new version of "Wavin' Flag" will be released in different formats and may feature on various recordings over the months leading up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup next summer. K'naan is looking forward to visiting South Africa as he was a big fan of slain Reggae star, Lucky Dube.

Bukankah ini kesempatan buat teman-teman yang belum punya kekasih atau pasangan hidup untuk mencari jodoh lewat facebook,oh iya kenapa saya memakai kata jodoh atau kekasih,biar terlihat lebih serius dan sakral,karena kalau pacar terkesan main-main,plis dech...!jangan main-main buat cari pasangan hidup.

Apakah mngkin kita bisa mencari jodoh lewat Facebook? Tentu saja bisa. Facebook mempunyai fasilitas yang mendukung dan mempermudah kita menemukan calon kekasih atau jodoh kita.

Tampaknya Facebook ini akan menjadi pintu gerbang bertemunya dua insan yang berbeda yang saling mencari teman, kekasih atau jodoh. Minimal facebook menjadi media pertama atau perintis untuk mulai berkenalan, dan mengenal dari permulaan. Bahkan kalau ada cowok atau cewek yang iseng atau nakal, facebook pun bisa dijadikan media untuk selingkuh. Tentu saya tidak mengajak teman-teman untuk selingkuh beramai-ramai di Facebook loch.

Bagaimana mungkin Facebook bisa menjadi sarana untuk cari kekasih atau cari Jodoh? Mungkin Tips Mencari kekasih atau Jodoh Lewat Facebook berikut bisa menjadi inspirasi teman-teman untuk memulai,berikut poin-poinnya:
1. Percaya diri, ini adalah modal awal teman-teman, apalagi seorang cowok. Wanita atau cewek paling menyukai cowok yang punya rasa percaya diri. Tanggapilah setiap komentar pengunjung facebook dengan bahasa yang percaya diri dan sopan,gunakan etika bicara yang menghormati dan menghargai.

2. Memasukkan data diri teman-teman yang sesungguhnya.,jangan pake alias atau nama samaran,kecuali teman-teman lagi di cari polisi seperti Noordin M.Top, yang semakin ngetop dan gak kalah topnya sama facebook.Hehe....!
Pada bagian Identitas, isilah bahwa teman-teman masih single, lalu mencari kenalan cewek atau cowok, sederhananya cewek cari cowok,cowok cari cewek,jangan cowok cari cowok,cewek cari cewek ntar dikira jeruk makan jeruk,tapi kalau buat cari teman gak masalah.

3. Masukkan foto-foto teman-teman atau kegiatan teman-teman yang sebenarnya. Pilih foto yang berkesan,bagus dan menarik yang membuat orang jadi lebih simpatik dan tertarik. Apalagi kalau foto-foto itu bercerita tentang kesuksesan teman-teman. Misalnya,foto teman-teman yang dapat penghargaan dari Bapak presiden SBY,karena sudah melanjutkan penanaman sejuta pohon(Pak SBY lagi gencar-gencarnya dengan program tersebut)

Nah ini poin yang paling penting dan terpenting ,cari teman sebanyak-banyaknya,semakin banyak punya teman di facebook maka semakin besar peluang untuk mencari jodoh dan tentunya semakin banyak juga pilihan yang cocok sama keinginan atau kepribadian kita. kalau teman-teman seorang cowok cari teman cewek,begitu juga sebaliknya,kalau cewek cari teman cowok.

5. Mulailah berkunjung dan berkomentar ke facebook mereka.

6. Berkomentarlah langsung ke halaman profile yang ingin di incar,berilah komentar dengan nada mengiyakan .Contohnya:”oh iya ya kamu benar juga”,”saya dukung tuch”, yang penting kamu dukung apa yang lagi di bahas di statusnya.

7. Beri sapaan-sapaan ringan kalau kebetulan si “dia” yang diincar lagi online.

You can get irshell 3.9 here, and in order to be able to install the fw 3.90 m33 you can get the patch here. Here is the steps:

After unpack irshell3-9.zip, IRSHELL and copy files to the root directory seplugin your memory stick (eg I: \)
(For PSP Phat) just copy all the files you have on PSP/GAME150 to your memory stick, save in the folder PSP \ GAME150 (FOR PSP SLIM) just copy all the files in the PSP \ GAME to your memory stick, save the folder on the PSP \ GAME
Irshellupdate.zip extract the files, copy-kan all existing files in the directory \ BIN to the I: \ IRSHELL \ BIN on your psp.
Go to the PATCH directory on the results update irshell extract, copy-kan directory 3.9 to I: \ IRSHELL \ PATCH
Come out of USB mode and turn off your PSP, not sleep (hold power button for 5 seconds)
Log in to recovery mode, turn on your PSP while holding R button
Go to the Plugins menu, you will find "irsautoboot.prx [VSH] (Disabled)" enable option, press X
Exit recovery mode, and the PSP will automatically run irshell

This release is for PSP Slim & Lite only. It introduces an Advanced Multi-tasking feature which allows you to run 2 applications simultaneously and switch between them with a hot key. Of course, you can still multi-task these 2 apps together with iR Shell build-in functions.

Usage Notes:
1) Before you can use the Advanced Multi-tasking, you'll need to enable the option "Slim Advanced Multi-tasking" under iR Configurator.
2) You can load 2 Applications to the 2 memory slots in the Slim. Slot 1 is the usual memory area for loading applications (the lower 32MB RAM); while slot 2 is the new memory area (the upper 32MB RAM only available on Slim).
3) By default, the 1st app will be loaded in slot 1, and the 2nd app will load in slot 2 automatically. To force the 1st app to load in slot 2, hold Left-Trigger while lauching an application under the confirmation popup window.
4) The typical app switch toggle "L-Trigger + Select" or the alternate key "Vol Up + Select" will allow you to toggle between the 2 apps and iR Shell. New key combos "L-Trigger + Note" or "Vol Up + Note" will allow you to switch between the 2 apps without going back to iR Shell screen. Pls note pressing the Note button alone (without L-Trigger) will act as the screen capture button. The alternate Vol Up combo keys perform exactly the same as L-Trigger key and is provided as an alternative.
5) Normally, when you exit 1 of the 2 apps, it will cause the PSP to reboot, meaning you'll also lose the other running app. This can be resolved by adding unloading support into the application itself. However, this will require modification of the app to perform resource cleanup and self-unloading upon exit. All iR Shell bundled plugins have been enhanced to support unloading, such that they can be terminated without affecting the other running app. To exit these plugins gracefully, use the exit function build into the app itself. For example, to exit bookr, press START and choose Exit menu item. iR Shell disables the standard Home exit menu while 2 apps are running. To exit both apps together, use "Home + Square" instead.

Compatibility Notes:
- Not all apps can be loaded to Slot 2. There're two types of program binary format for PSP, static ELF and relocatable PRX. Static ELF uses fix memory address and can't be relocated. Hence, they will only work when loading in slot 1. If you try to load a static ELF in slot 2, you'll get an error code "0x800200D9". PRX can be loaded in either slot 1 or 2. To convert a homebrew from ELF to PRX, you'll need to re-compile it with BUILD_PRX=1 and set the heap size with PSP_HEAP_SIZE_KB(-800) in the source file. Most static ELF homebrews can be converted to relocatable PRX simply by recompilation.
- There is a limitation on the PSP AVC hardware decoder which is for video playback. It cannot be accessed by more than 1 application; which means you can't have 2 applcations running together if both of them access the AVC hardware decoder.
- The bundled plugins should be able to coexist with most other apps; with the exception of the PPA plugin which can only coexist with another app which doesn't use the AVC hardware decoder.
- You can't have both slots loading UMD/ISOs, due to there is only 1 physical UMD drive and ISOs are simply emulating the UMD.
- PS1 games take exclusive use on the audio hardware. As a result, it will be incompatible with other apps that use audio.
- The launch XMB function may not be stable for most commercial games due to resource conflicts. However, it should be pretty compatible with most homebrews. On the other hand, the Sony Web Browser should work with most commercial games & homebrews. To browse Internet while running another app, you can use the iR Shell bundled htmlviewer which is the Sony Web browser.
- If an app is built with PSP_LARGE_MEMORY flag and you're trying to load it in slot 1 (first app), it will use all Slim memory and you won't be able to load a 2nd app. To allow it to co-exist with other apps, you'll need to load it in slot 2.
- This will probably be incompatible with DA's LEDA if you're trying to run 2 apps requring 2 different kernels.
- This Advanced Multi-tasking feature is incompatible with Interlaced TV Out for slim due to insufficient memory. Progressive TV Out should work fine.
- If you get an error "0x800200D9" while loading an app to slot 2, it's a static ELF and you'll need to load it in slot 1. That is, reverse the order of the 2 applications you're loading.

- The bundled bookr plugin is based on the original v0.71. If you want to use the recent v0.81 mod by Nguyen Chi Tam, you can download it from www.ishell.org forum.
- You can find most of the plugin source code in www.irshell.org plugin forum. If you want to add unloading support to a homebrew, you can refer to these samples.

The PlayStation Portable (officially abbreviated PSP, and sometimes referred to as PSP-1000)^[6] is a handheld game console manufactured and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment.^[7] Development of the console was first announced during E3 2003,^[8] and it was unveiled on May 11, 2004 at a Sony press conference before E3 2004.^[9] The system was released in Japan on December 12, 2004,^[10] in North America on March 24, 2005,^[11] and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005.^[12]

The PlayStation Portable is the first handheld video game console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc (UMD), as its primary storage medium.^[13]^[14] Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen,^[15] robust multi-media capabilities,^[16] and connectivity with the PlayStation 3, other PSPs, and the Internet.^[17]^[18]

Despite the console's superior computing power and multimedia capabilities, sales have (with cyclical exceptions) lagged behind its main competitor, the Nintendo DS.^[19] Nevertheless, the console is "the most successful non-Nintendo handheld game system ever sold".^[20] After the release of a remodeled, slimmer, and lighter version of the PlayStation Portable, appropriately titled Slim and Lite, in early September 2007, sales quadrupled in the United Kingdom the following week and increased by nearly 200% in North America for the month of October.^[21]^[22]

Sony first announced development of the PlayStation Portable at a press conference before E3 2003.^[23] Although mock-ups of the system were not present at the press conference or E3,^[23] Sony did release extensive technical details regarding the new system.^[24] Then-CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Ken Kutaragi called the device the "Walkman of the 21st Century" in a reference to the console's multimedia capabilities.^[25] Several gaming websites were impressed by the handheld's computing capabilities and looked forward to the system's potential as a gaming platform.^[8]^[23]^[26]

The first concept images of the PlayStation Portable appeared in November 2003 at the Sony Corporate Strategy Meeting and showed a PSP with flat buttons and no analog stick.^[27] Although some expressed concern over the lack of an analog joystick,^[28] these fears were allayed when the PSP was officially unveiled at the Sony press conference during E3 2004.^[29] In addition to announcing more details about the system and its accessories,^[30] Sony also released a list of 99 developer companies that had pledged support for the new handheld.^[31] Several PSP game demos, such as Konami's Metal Gear Acid and SCE Studio Liverpool's Wipeout Pure were also shown at the conference.^[32]

On October 17, 2004, Sony announced that the PSP would launch in Japan on December 12, 2004 at a price of ¥19,800 (about US$181 in 2004) for the base model and ¥24,800 (about US$226 in 2004) for the Value System.^[33] The console's launch was a success with over 200,000 units sold the first day.^[34] They also sell different color variations in bundle packs, which cost more than usual, around $200. Sony announced on February 3, 2005, that the PSP would go on sale in North America on March 24, 2005 in one configuration for a MSRP of US$249/CA$299.^[35] Some expressed concern over the high price,^[36] which was almost US$20 higher than the system's price in Japan and more than $100 higher than the recently launched Nintendo DS.^[37] Despite the concerns, the PSP's North American launch was a success,^[38]^[39] although reports two weeks later indicated that the system was not selling as well as expected despite Sony's claim that 500,000 units had been sold in the first two days.^[40]^[41]

The PSP was originally to have a simultaneous PAL region and North American launch,^[30] but on March 15, 2005, Sony announced that the PAL region launch would be delayed because of high demand for the console in Japan and North America.^[42] A month later, on April 25, 2005, Sony announced that the PSP would launch in the PAL region on September 1, 2005 for €249/£179.^[43] Sony defended the high price, which was nearly US$100 higher than in North America, by pointing out that North American consumers had to pay local sales taxes and that the GST was higher in the UK than the US.^[44] Despite the high price, the console's PAL region launch was a resounding success, selling more than 185,000 units in the UK alone, selling out of all stock nation wide in the UK within 3 hours of launch, more than doubling the previous first-day sales record of 87,000 units set by the Nintendo DS.^[45] The system also enjoyed great success in other areas of the PAL region with more than 25,000 units preordered in Australia^[46] and nearly one million units sold across Europe in the first week.^[47]

The PSP is sold in two main configurations that differ in which accessories are included. The basic unit package or Base Pack (called the Core Pack in North America^[53]) contains the console, a battery, and an AC adapter.^[54] This version was available at launch in Japan^[33] and was later released in North America and Europe.^[55] The Core Pack currently retails for CA$/US$169.99,^[53] ¥19,800,^[56] HK$1,280 or $1,360 (depending on the color),^[57] S$280,^[58] AU$279.95,^[59] NZ$299.95,^[60] €169.99, and £129.99.^[61]

The Value Pack includes everything in the Base Pack as well as a 32 MB Memory Stick Pro Duo, headphones with remote control, a carrying pouch, and a wrist strap.^[54] Some regions have modified versions of this pack that include different accessories.^[62] The Value Pack retails for US$199,^[63] ¥26,040,^[64] HK$1660,^[65] AU$399.95,^[66] and NZ$449.95.^[62]

Many limited edition versions of the PSP that include various accessories, games, or movies have also been released.^[67]^[68]

The PSP is currently available in eleven colors. These include piano black, ceramic white, ice silver, mystic silver, rose pink, deep red, champagne gold, felicia blue, mint green, lavender purple, and metallic blue. Only the piano black model is available in all regions.^[69] The ice silver, ceramic white, and deep red versions are available as stand-alone models in Asia^[69]^[70] and as part of the "Daxter", "Star Wars Battlefront", and "God of War" entertainment packs in North America (with a Darth Vader silkscreen on the ceramic white model and a Kratos silkscreen on the deep red model).^[71]^[72] The rose pink, champagne gold, felicia blue, and lavender purple versions are only available in Asia^[69]^[73] and the mint green model is exclusive to Japan.^[74] The metallic blue color had been discontinued, but was made available again in North America as part of the Madden NFL 09 entertainment pack.^[75] Several other special edition models, such as the "Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops" camouflage PSP, have also been released.^[69] The pink and ice silver colors have been discontinued but the mystic silver is available in Oceanic in the Resistance bundle pack.^[69] It has been recently announced that Asia will get another four new colors; Vibrant Blue, Radiant Red, Bright Yellow and Spirited Green - in March of 2009, under the release moniker of "Carnival Colors".

At E3 2007, Sony announced that a new version of the PSP would be released in September 2007, for all regions.^[53] The redesigned PSP is 33% lighter and 19% thinner than the original PSP. The redesign also features composite TV output, supports charging via USB, double the onboard RAM (32 MB to 64 MB), and has a brighter screen.^[76] It also caches UMD data in memory to decrease game loading times. The WLAN switch has been moved to the top where the old IR receiver was to avoid accidental switching, and the speaker vents that were at the bottom and underside of the original PSP have been moved to the top of this new model.^[77]

On August 20, 2008, a revised PSP design was announced at a press conference in Leipzig. Based on the Slim & Lite (PSP-2000) design,^[78]^[79] the PSP-3000 features an improved LCD screen, a built-in microphone, oval shaped start and select buttons and an expanded video-out. The LCD screen features a higher contrast ratio, shorter response time, and wider color gamut, as well as anti-reflective technology for improved visibility in well-lit environments. Expanded video-out capability allows gameplay video to be output in interlaced format. This model was released in Japan, Asia, North America, Europe^[78] and Australia^{[citation needed]} in October 2008.

Hardware Issues
On release, an issue with interlacing was noticed on the PSP-3000 screen when objects were in motion. Gaming Bits (among others) did an in-depth review of the differences between the two versions, noting the interlacing issues, and about a week later Sony announced that they would not be releasing a software update to address the issue:^[80]

On some occasions, scan lines may appear on scenes where brightness changes drastically, due to the hardware features of the new LCD device on PSP-3000. Installed with this new LCD device, PSP-3000 offers more natural and vibrant colors on its screen, but the scan lines have come out to be more visible as a result of improving response time to alleviate the afterimages on PSP-3000. Since this is due to hardware specification, there are no plans for a system software update concerning this issue.

The PSP Go was revealed on May 30, 2009 in the June episode of Qore and was later officially announced on June 2, 2009 at E3.^[81] The PSP Go features Bluetooth functionality, a 3.8 inch screen and weighs 43% less than the original PSP. Instead of the UMD drive as found on previous models, the PSP Go has 16 GB of internal flash memory and Memory Stick Micro port as opposed to Memory Stick Duo. Games will be downloadable from the PlayStation Store. The sliding mechanism on the screen hides the main face buttons and the analogue nub when not in use.

God of War 2 menampilkan salah satu grafik terbaik di PS2. Saat memulai game ini pun Anda akan disuguhi grafik PS2 papan atas yang mungkin takkan tertandingi game PS2 lain. Anda akan tiba di sebuah pertempuran bangsa Sparta yang seru lalu harus menghadapi patung raksasa. Semuanya berlangsung dengan mulus tanpa slowdown. Detail lingkungannya pun sangat bagus, lengkap dengan tekstur yang enak dipandang mata.

Kratos tampil dengan sempurna lengkap dengan gerakan-gerakan yang luwes. Dengan jumlah poligon yang tinggi, sang (mantan) dewa perang benar-benar menyeramkan dan penuh kemarahan. Makhluk-makhluk mitologi Yunani lain pun tak kalah menarik. Zeus, para Titan, Pegasus, hingga monster-monster kelas teri dan para prajurit pun di-render dengan baik dan membuat keseluruhan game ini benar-benar menyegarkan mata.

Dengan TV yang mendukung Progressive Scan, grafik God of War 2 takkan terkalahkan. Jujur saja, game ini HARUS dimainkan di TV dengan Progressive Scan jika Anda ingin menikmati grafik God of War 2 secara seutuhnya.

Sound: B

Efek suara di game ini sama seperti di game sebelumnya. Bunyi patahnya tulang leher dijamin akan membuat Anda puas. Gema pedang beradu dengan pedang juga terdengar realistis. Suara cipratan darah? Tetap renyah seperti di God of War 1. Raungan, lolongan dan jeritan makhluk-makhluk seram Yunani juga memukau. Sayangnya saya merasa musiknya biasa-biasa saja. Di bagian awal memang keren, tapi lama-kelamaan tidak terdengar terlalu impresif.

Gameplay: B

Jika sudah pernah memainkan God of War 1, Anda pasti sudah familiar dengan gameplay di game ini. Tombol X untuk melompat, kotak untuk serangan lemah, segitiga untuk serangan kuat dan melontarkan musuh ke udara, lingkaran untuk membanting/menghabisi musuh. Anda juga masih bisa membunuh musuh dengan brutal setelah menghajar mereka habis-habisan. Tidak banyak berubah, kan?

Setelah membunuh musuh, Anda akan mendapatkan orb merah. Gunanya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan senjata Anda. Senjata Anda juga beragam, mulai dari senjata standar, panah, hingga golok Olympus. Semuanya memiliki kekurangan dan kelebihan masing-masing. Selain itu juga ada orb hijau untuk memulihkan health, orb biru untuk memulihkan magic bar, dan orb kuning/emas untuk mengeluarkan ilmu besar Anda.

Apa cuma itu? Tentu tidak. Kini Anda juga mengendarai Pegasus dan terlibat dalam pertempuran udara ala Panzer Dragoon. Kontrol di segmen ini tidak terlalu rumit. Selain itu Anda juga bisa melakukan aksi pembunuhan super keren di udara sebelum mendarat dengan mulus di punggung Pegasus. Cinematic dogfight? Yoi, Brur.

Game ini dapat ditamatkan sekitar 10 jam. Sama seperti game action adventure lain, tantangan terbesar di God of War 2 adalah menamatkannya. Setelah Anda menamatkannya, tak banyak yang bisa dilakukan selain menjajal tingkat kesulitan yang lebih tinggi dan membuka semua rahasianya.

Dengan grafik yang super dahsyat untuk ukuran PS2 dan gameplay yang keren, God of War 2 adalah game wajib bagi pemilik PS2. Meski Anda bukan penggemar game action adventure, Anda tetap harus memainkannya. Kenapa? Karena game inilah yang sekarang menjadi taji PS2 di pengujung hidupnya.

Final Fantasy ACC ( Advent Children Complete) sudah keluar semenjak 3 minggu yg lalu, di sini juga terdapat game Final Fantasy 13 trial version, baru hari ini saya sempat memainkan nya. Sekilas seperti apa yg saya harapkan dari game buatan squareenix adalah FMV nya yg keren, character nya juga animasinya sangat lues dan shadow / lighting nya bisa di bilang yg paling muktahir dari squareEnix, hanya beberapa bagian dari characternya masih terlihat sedikit low res, beberapa minor detail yg masih terlihat belom terlalu sempurna. Battle system nya pun lebih seru dibanding the FF12, sedikit mirip dengan Chrono Trigger.
